I always gravitate towards big bags once the season turns to Fall. Maybe it's the back-to-school spirit that’s stuck with me even in my late 20's now. Or maybe it's the innate need to pack everything and anything I would need to brave the cold conditions of NYC like I'm a medieval squire going on a long quest.

Although I already had a few big bags in my closet, I was looking for one with metal/studded details, preferably black. I found a few secondhand options on Poshmark and eBay that I was considering hitting the purchase button on but decided to think on it. A mere week later, I was at Beacon's Closet in Greenpoint looking for a dress that would work for my Halloween costume. Unfortunately, no luck on the dress; but as the thorough and avid thrifter I am, decided to take a look at the bag section. Lo and behold, this beauty was hanging there behind a bunch of other bags.

It was everything I was looking for: black with studs and metal ringlets. I looked inside the bag to see the brand and it was the exact same brand as some of the bags I had saved on Poshmark (and also cheaper!). The thrift gods had blessed me.
